General Technology Introduction
The LRHR-500 is an advanced HF solid state phased array, all-altitude early warning radar, effective to a range of over 500km. The LRHR-500 is a new state-of-the art radar system designed to operate within modern military Air Defense systems.
The LRHR-500 rapidly adapts to a broad spectrum of changing operational scenarios where jammers Coexists with heavy clutter.
The LRHR-500 combines the best performance and reliability into a mobile and cost effective package. The radar is truck-mounted for rapid deployment at unprepared sites. This gives the user more options and mobility on the ever changing battlefield.
The LRHR-500 early warning radar provides simultaneous all-altitude coverage. Frequency band selection provides detection of stealth targets such as F-22 and F-35, immunity against Anti-Radiation Missile (ARM) and improved performance in rain and chaff conditions. Reduced peak power provides resistance against Electronic Counter Measures (ECM).
Advanced Processing Unit enables improved target detection performance and high clutter rejection for ground, sea and volume clutter.
Excellent Electronic Counter Measures (ECCMs) are provided by reduced peak power, frequency agility, jam strobe reporting and by a separate receiver for ECM monitoring.
The radar can be controlled through the local radar management console or through a remote console. The mechanical configuration is designed to facilitate assembly/disassembly on battlefield, to provide an Increased survivability. The LRHR-500 is highly reliable due to its total solid state technology.
